BCG Vienna can be found in the sixteenth-century "Kattushaus," a landmark that's well protected by the neighboring fire brigade. The office is a five-minute walk from the Stephansplatz, in Am Hof, one of the city's most charming squares. Visible from the center of the square is the Mariensäule, a monument commemorating the end of the Swedish invasion during the Thirty Years' War.
Vienna is the largest city in Austria with 1.7 million inhabitants. Within the European Union, Vienna is one of the wealthiest regions—it is no surprise that the city is well known for a high quality of living. With about 70 consultants and administrative staff, BCG Vienna currently has two small locations near each other. The consultants in Vienna come from a variety of backgrounds.
