In 2007, the Amsterdam office moved to an ultramodern office at 'the Zuidas' in the southern part of the city. The Zuidas is an innovative, international business hub within close reach of Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and the historic center.
The office serves both Dutch multinationals as well as a variety of medium-sized companies. BCG Amsterdam staff work on projects ranging from corporate development to strategy in industries such as consumer goods, energy and utilities, financial services, and technology and communications.
BCG Amsterdam is an active participant in the Ambassador Program. It not only hosts ambassadors from other BCG offices from as far away as Tokyo and Australia, but also sends its ambassadors to places like Boston, San Francisco, and São Paulo.
The office fosters a culture that encourages professional challenges, development, and teamwork. The atmosphere is open, flexible, and lively—and leaves room for individuals with diverse backgrounds and characters. Although the Amsterdam office is rather large, its enthusiastic consultants and support staff claim that they are 'one big family.'
