Since our opening, BCG Jakarta has grown rapidly and today, our office is home to consultants from around the world, including Indonesia, Germany, Norway, and New Zealand.

BCG Jakarta is one of four offices in the Southeast Asia region, and our consultants work on projects throughout the area. While this requires traveling for the consulting staff, it also affords them the opportunity to fully experience the region's diverse client and work mix.

We are a young, dynamic team who revel in helping shape businesses and creating impact for our clients. We believe in a culture of developing and rewarding talents, as can be seen in the ongoing training programs, sponsorships to business schools, as well as our "home grown" partners in the region. We actively look for talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise.

Over the years, BCG Jakarta has performed strategy and portfolio analysis for local conglomerates and banks, completed market entry and acquisition searches for multinationals, and consulted in the restructuring of a number of state-owned enterprises. In spite of our relatively small size, we feature a particularly diverse client base that includes companies in the energy, utilities, financial services, industrial goods, telecommunications, consumer goods, and health care industries.

With the region's last economic upheavals as a backdrop, we have worked to establish a sustainable competitive advantage through our depth of experience in a number of Indonesian companies. As a result, our office is well positioned to use that expertise in helping companies address a range of strategic, operational, and organizational issues.

The whole office comes together the last Friday of each month to reconnect and share our latest experiences. These important yet fun meetings are usually followed by a night of dining and social activities outside the office.

BCG as an organization is very committed to playing a part for social impact, and we are proud of our global partnerships with the World Food Programme, Save the Children, and several organizations in the global health arena. This also resonates within BCG Jakarta, with our staff participating as individuals in a wide array of community service programs. The company also practices a dollar-for-dollar match on all charitable contributions by the staff.
