Located in one of the world's most multicultural cities, the BCG Toronto office is in the heart of the financial district and features spectacular views of the downtown skyline and Lake Ontario. It is just a short stroll from the city's best restaurants, attractions, and theater venues.
BCG Toronto brings a global perspective, keen intellectual curiosity, and a high degree of professionalism to its client work. The team takes great pride in its contributions to BCG's intellectual capital. Within the firm, Toronto was an early leader in developing our e-commerce and pricing practices. BCG Toronto's most recent publications address topics that include competitive strategy, corporate banking, and designing new models for consumer durables.
The Toronto office's client roster includes Canadian and global companies in a variety of industries ranging from consumer goods to financial services and technology and communications. The staff focuses on creating a competitive advantage within client organizations, using the insight gained from strategy to drive change and performance improvement.
The office's uniquely international perspective is a reflection of the multicultural makeup of the city's population. During the past year, Toronto staff worked on assignments in the United States, Australia, and Europe. Among participants in BCG's Ambassador Program, which sponsors exchanges of consultants among BCG offices, Toronto is also one of the most sought after destinations in North America. The office also actively participates in the program, having sent staff to Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Paris, and Amsterdam, among other offices.
The commitment of the BCG Toronto team to its community includes a variety of events and pro-bono efforts, including the creation of a national youth internship program managed by the private sector. Called Career Edge, this program has placed nearly 6,500 interns in various short-term jobs since 1996. More recently, the office has worked with the Toronto City Summit Alliance and Pathways to Education, further reinforcing it's commitment to tackling issues of relevance to its local community.

BCG played a critical role in the planned expansion of Pathways to Education, an education program designed to lower the high school dropout rate in economically disadvantaged communities across Canada. After the initial success of Pathways in Toronto's Regent Park community, BCG worked alongside leaders from the private and public sectors to develop a strategic and organizational plan to expand Pathways across Canada. The work included quantification of the societal return on investment, development of a public-private funding model to support the expansion, and building of organizational capacity to support sustainable growth of the program.
