At the Strategy Institute, we constantly look for strategic topics from nonbusiness sources that have high relevance to business and society at large.

For each research project, we assemble a team of external and BCG people, including the originator of the project idea and the BCG representatives who will develop it. The progress of the project is checked through global Strategy Institute meetings, where the different teams present their findings and the Strategy Institute leadership ensures quality control.

We publish our research results and share them with BCG clients.

A scholar who collaborates with the Strategy Institute remains the originator of his or her idea, and the Strategy Institute closely coordinates the entire process of implementation.

If you are a scholar with a strategic topic or idea from a nonbusiness field and your research would be useful for business and society, we encourage you to contact us at the Strategy Institute.

Employment at the Strategy Institute is possible only for those who have had a successful career in consulting at BCG. If you are interested in pursuing employment opportunities BCG has to offer in strategy consulting, please visit Careers, where you can learn more about BCG and submit an application online.
