Matt Egler co-leads the Corporate Finance & Strategy practice for Boston Consulting Group in the Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) region. Since joining BCG in 2011 in the San Francisco office, Matt has worked primarily for financial institutions and private equity firms in North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand.

Matt leads global, cross-functional engagements for clients in the financial services and insurance industries, focusing on strategy and digital transformation. He has considerable experience in corporate and business strategy, shareholder value/total shareholder return, business model innovation, retail banking, wealth management, payments, and fintech. He leads the alumni relationships and career services team for BCG's ANZ region and is a senior member of the ANZ People team.

Before joining BCG, Matt worked at EY Mergers and Acquisitions in Berlin and Shanghai, and before that worked at Bayer Healthcare in Berlin and Cairo.
