Maximilian Strauch is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) and Energy practices, as well as the Transaction & Integration Excellence team and Corporate Finance task force leadership.

Max specializes in corporate finance and development with a focus on transactions engagements. He works with clients on topics along the full M&A value chain (strategy, target identification, and investor search; deal execution; post-deal measures/full potential plans). He has worked on buy-side, sell-side, IPO, and joint venture mandates, and drives BCG's efforts in M&A target search, and M&A organization design.

Max joined BCG in 2013, and has done extensive research in the fields of corporate strategy and capital allocation. Prior to joining the firm, Max served in various corporate development roles in the venture space, including growing an early-stage business intelligence firm.
