Alex de Mur is the global leader for operations profit improvement in refining and petrochem for BCG’s Energy and Operations practices. He also leads BCG's Energy practice in Iberia and South America.

Since joining BCG in 2010, Alex has worked extensively with leading oil and gas players, and he has acquired particularly deep experience in downstream oil. His work has included helping clients deliver large margin-improvement programs (e.g., operations, change management, transformation), develop strategy plans, and plan for business development and sustainable growth.

Prior to joining BCG, Alex worked for ExxonMobil for four years in England and France, focusing on operations, optimization and planning in refinery and petrochemicals.
