Boris Goutkin is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Financial Institutions and Technology & Digital Advantage practices. He joined the firm in November 2016. In addition to his more than ten years of management consulting experience, Boris has 15 years of experience in information technology. He has a deep commitment to understanding digital technology’s impact on organizations and people’s lives.
Since joining the firm, Boris has led numerous digital transformation projects, from multispeed IT function design to development of digital banking concept, for clients including leading banks and domestic tech companies and national energy corporations.
Before joining BCG, Boris worked as Technology Strategy Practice Lead for Russia at Accenture, as well as Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, and a Senior Engineer and Regional CTO at Celltick Technologies in Tel Aviv and Moscow. Boris served in an elite technological unit of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), dedicated to enhancing the army's capabilities through the development of teleprocessing and network security solutions.
