Carlos Prádanos Niño is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Insurance practice. Since joining BCG in 2007, he has worked across various industries, but since 2015, he has specialized in insurance-related projects. He has worked in several countries, including Spain, Portugal, the UK, Poland, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, and Chile.

Currently, Carlos focuses on transformation initiatives for major life, health, and property and casualty insurance companies in Spain and Portugal, covering a wide range of topics, including distribution (across multiple channels: agents, brokers, bancassurance, digital), claims management optimization (including assistance services), pricing and underwriting, value proposition redefinition, customer value management (acquisition, cross-sell, retention), AI (including generative AI), innovation, customer service (client experience, contact centers, self-service), technology and digital transformation, talent management, M&A and post-merger integration, and end-to-end efficiency programs.

In addition, Carlos leads the AI-powered Customer Value Management (CVM) initiative globally within BCG’s Insurance practice.

Carlos is the founder and leader of the NGO Living Meki, a volunteer program in Ethiopia. Since its foundation in 2008, Living Meki has sponsored more than 300 families, deployed over 500 volunteers in the field, and raised over two million dollars to support its initiatives.
