Dawie Scholtz joined Boston Consulting Group in September 2017. He has worked with some of South Africa's largest companies, primarily in the fields of metals and mining, energy, and petrochemicals. His engagements have including large-scale project implementation, operating model restructuring, due diligence for potential acquisitions, long-term growth strategy, and financial turnaround. He is a core member of the Industrial Goods and Operations practices at the firm.

Dawie has recently been concentrating on decarbonization topics and innovative new-energy business models.
