Ella Rabener joined Boston Consulting Group in 2019 as part of BCG X, the firm's tech build, data and design unit. She is a core member of BCG X's Wealth Management practice, leads the global GenAI initiative for financial institutions, and is part of BCG X's operating committee. In her role as an operating committee member, she is the global BCG X culture lead and the people chair for the Europe, Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA) region.
Ella is an experienced e-commerce and fintech entrepreneur. She combines ten years of startup experience with a previous consulting career at McKinsey & Company, where she advised clients in the consumer goods, retail, luxury, and financial industries. Most recently, she co-founded Scalable Capital, one of the world’s leading digital wealth managers and neo-brokers with over €10 billion of assets under management. Prior to that, she built several e-commerce ventures, among them Westwing.ru, Russia's leading online destination for furniture and home decor. She has broad international experience, having lived in or worked for clients in the US, Europe, Asia, Russia, and the Middle East.
