Filip Saelens is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice. He joined the firm in 2011. Filip focuses on transaction-related work (buy- and sell-side commercial due diligence, integrated commercial and technology due diligence, bolt-on M&A, and divestiture planning) and strategy work for private equity backed businesses (post-deal value creation/full potential planning, growth strategy).
Filip focuses on vertical Tech/Software (FinTech and InsureTech), horizontal Tech/Software (MarTech/AdTech), tech-enabled business services, and investments playing to the energy transition/decarbonization theme (EV charging, battery storage.)
