Gerd Wübbels leads Boston Consulting Group’s Frankfurt office, and is a core member of the firm’s Health Care and People & Organization practices. Gerd is an expert in the life sciences industry (pharma, biopharma, medtech, agriculture, etc.) and works with clients on a wide range of topics, including large scale transformations (particularly post-merger integration) and commercial operations.
Prior to joining BCG, Gerd was a senior manager at the Monitor Group where he worked with biopharma companies on blockbuster product launches, and commercial and marketing excellence engagements. He is a member of the board of directors of PhagoMed, a pre-clinical biotech company and owner of a small café and bakery in his hometown. He also invests in and serves as a coach and mentor for startups.
