Ichiro Kaku joined Boston Consulting Group in January 2011. He leads the firm's Principal Investors & Private Equity practice in the Asia-Pacific region. He is also a core member of the firm’s Corporate Finance & Strategy, Industrial Goods and Global Advantage practices.
Since joining BCG, Ichiro has worked closely with clients in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, general trading, consumer products, and private equity. He has rich experience in M&A support, business restructuring, alliance, mid- to long-term corporate strategy, and post-merger integration (PMI). He is a member of the Business Restructuring Study Group at the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Before joining the firm, Ichiro worked for a private equity firm and for other strategy consulting firms.
