Jan Ittner is the global engineering chapter lead at BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech build and design division. He is a software engineer and data scientist with more than 25 years of experience in AI, natural language processing, and software delivery.
Jan was instrumental in planning and building BCG's AI capability. He is as passionate about nurturing growth, collaboration, and innovation in his teams as he is about mastering technology. Jan is skilled in operations analytics, predictive quality and maintenance, GenAI, large language models, machine learning, and other aspects of AI and software.
Before joining the firm, Jan was a contributor at Innovation Value Institute, and before that, served as Senior Software Engineer/PhD researcher at Method Park.
