Janggyun Im is a core member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice at Boston Consulting Group. He is also a core member of the firm’s Corporate Finance & Strategy practice.

Since joining BCG in 2012, Janggyun has advised clients across technology, telecommunications, and media, working with executive leadership at firms in the semiconductor, display, home appliance, mobile, network, software, video, and game businesses.

Most recently, Janggyun has been leading major projects such as digital-based customer journey innovation, corporate value enhancement, and M&A for AI-based platform business model transformation. Janggyun also coauthored BCG Seoul’s book, “Six Emerging Technologies That’ll Shape Our Future,” which describes the impact the fourth industrial revolution will have on the world in the near future.

Prior to joining BCG, Janggyun was in charge of global marketing and operations at Samsung Electronics.
