Kazunari Watanabe leads Boston Consulting Group’s Transformation practice (BCG Transform) in Japan. He is also a core member of the firm’s Operations, and Public Sector practices.

Kazunari works on topics such as large-scale transformations, including business portfolio reforms, organizational and personnel reforms, and companywide cost reductions, for a wide range of domestic and international industries, including manufacturing, high-tech, retail, and transportation. He has served as CEO for client companies to spearhead the startup of implementation.

Prior to joining BCG, Kazunari worked at Seiko Instruments Inc., Ltd. (Executive Senior Vice President), Royal Brunei Airlines Sdn Bhd (COO/CFO), and Seiyu GK (Vice President, Strategy & Replenishment).
