Makoto Morihara rejoined Boston Consulting Group in 2019, having previously worked at the firm from 2011 to 2017. In addition to the Tokyo office, he has worked at BCG’s Chicago office. He is a core member of BCG’s Public Sector and Climate & Sustainability practices.
Makoto works with clients in the public sector, including central government agencies and a wide range of industries, on supporting policy making and domestic and international rulemaking strategy formulation. He has extensive experience supporting economic security, climate change, smart cities, and regional development.
