Markus Lorenz is the global lead for Boston Consulting Group's Greentech, Machinery, & Automation team, as well as a core member of the firm's Industrial Goods and Operations practices with a focus on performance improvement, sales, and R&D programs.

Markus's knowledge of lean engineering and new processes in engineering has informed his numerous restructuring, reengineering, and turnaround projects with clients. He has also helped guide innovation and product development programs as well as sales and service activations.

Before joining BCG in 2001, Markus worked for Daimler in commercial vehicle production and logistics optimization.
