Nicolas Schmidt is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice with a focus on technology investment/tech capital clients . He has considerable experience leading private equity engagements and is a leading member of the growth equity and consumer tech team. Nicolas has performed over 100 due diligences on technology companies with a focus on vertical B2B software and consumer tech.
In addition, Nicolas co-leads the Social Impact practice in Stockholm and is head of the gaming team for Europe. Nicolas originally joined BCG in 2013, leaving in 2017 before rejoining the firm in 2018. Nicolas founded a social startup (a food-sharing app) while he was at university that earned multiple awards.
