Paul Goydan is the global leader of Boston Consulting Group’s Accelerated Cost Advantage program, an end-to-end approach to resetting cost structures and enhancing operational efficiency rapidly, precisely, and sustainably.

Paul has over 20 years of experience working closely with senior executives of some of the largest companies in the world as they successfully navigate large-scale functional transformations and solve complex global challenges such as climate change and energy transition.

Some of his recent work with clients includes using a merger integration as a catalyst for change in the operating model, organizational design, and cost structure of a globally diverse Fortune 100 company; improving field productivity for a global business by leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline real-time decision making; designing an enterprisewide performance improvement program to significantly improve efficiency, collaboration, and speed-to-output; and developing a corporate innovation plan that included building a new, low-carbon business unit that functioned as a startup within a larger company to service hard-to-abate sectors and nimbly go after opportunities.

Prior to leading the Accelerated Cost Advantage program, Paul helped form BCG’s global Climate & Sustainability practice and led the North American Energy practice. He has also studied climate change in executive programs at Columbia University and Cambridge University.
