Russell Dubner serves as BCG’s chief communications officer and drives client-facing work on trust, leadership, and stakeholder strategies. He leverages his extensive expertise in strategic communications and earning and building trust for corporate brands to bring a distinct lens to client engagements.
Russell has recently coauthored a seminal study on the role of trust in value creation and strategic advantage. He is also developing a new approach to corporate activism in times of increased polarization in collaboration with BCG’s CEO Advisory. His research follows a tenure at the helm of the Edelman Trust Institute, which publishes the Edelman Trust Barometer along with a series of special reports on investor and employee trust.
Prior to BCG, Russell was US CEO and global vice chairman of Edelman, where he played a central role in the firm’s march to become one of the world's leading communications companies. Over a near 30-year career at Edelman, he engineered a transformation of the firm’s operating model and made moves into key growth areas.
