Szabolcs Markovszky joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015. He is a core member of the Public Sector practice for the Middle East. His client work is focused on helping governments design and implement major economic structural reforms.
Szabi is a co-leader of BCG's Public Sector practice in Qatar and is responsible for economic development topics in the wider Middle East. His expertise centers around cluster-based economic development, localization policies, and labor market reforms. Specifically, he recently developed a comprehensive industrial growth plan for a large Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) government and an export strategy in goods and services for another Middle East country.
Prior to joining BCG, Szabi was a Project Leader in the Global Automotive Practice at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich. His clients included major automotive OEMs and suppliers across Europe and the US.
