Takeshi Yanagimoto joined Boston Consulting Group in 2021. He is a core member of BCG’s Health Care practice.

Takeshi has worked closely with clients in the health care industry, especially pharmaceutical companies, and companies engaged in health care related businesses. He works with clients to support growth strategies and innovation management in drug discovery R&D, as well as new health care businesses, globalization, and organization and talent management.

In recent years, Takeshi has been involved in formulating and implementing health care related policies through collaborations with governments, industry associations, and industry-government-academia partnerships. He also led the launch of a course for fostering data science education at a graduate school.

Prior to joining BCG, Takeshi worked at Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting. He was also a specially appointed associate professor at Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine at Kyoto University.
