Terence Smith leads Boston Consulting Group's Centre for Canada's Future (CCF) and is a core member of the firm's Public Sector practice. Working with Canadian and global BCG experts, Terence guides the Centre's efforts to analyze and catalyze action on Canada's biggest challenges and opportunities. The Centre aspires to be a trusted expert voice on national issues, a partner for organizations moving Canada forward, and a convenor of Canadian leaders to achieve impact.
Terence's projects with CCF have included leading the strategic planning process for the regional Board of Trade representing Canada’s largest economic region, resulting in five-year strategic plan for growth and economic development; and spearheading development of COVID-19 strategic response efforts for a federal health agency, with a focus on future scenario analysis and testing strategies.
In addition, Terence has worked on a broad range of topics with federal governments and municipal boards of trade, and with private sector companies in the energy, telecom, and manufacturing industries.
Before joining BCG in 2013, Terence worked at Blue Guru Consulting and Satov Consultants.
