Thomas Giraud joined Boston Consulting Group in London in 2015 before moving to the Paris office. He is a core member of the Energy and Climate & Sustainability practices at the firm.

Thomas has led over 50 projects along the value chain for major corporations, national energy companies, and private equity funds on a wide range of strategic and operational issues. He has a focus on upstream and midstream energy supply chain, low carbon energy, decarbonization, large scale transformation, transactions, and large post-merger integrations

His recent cases have covered decarbonization strategy, performance turnarounds, sustainability benchmarking, and other integration, M&A due diligence, and post-acquisition optimizations. He recently developed the low carbon energy strategy for a large energy player to identify high potential technologies in low carbon energy, conducting due diligences and market studies on several low carbon energies (biofuel, biogas, lithium batteries).

Before joining BCG, Thomas worked for TotalEnergies in the field.
