Wade Barnes is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's energy practice and leads the firm's commodity trading and risk management team in North America. In addition to commodity trading, Wade has expertise in value chain optimization, LNG, renewables, and oilfield services/EPC.
Before joining the firm Wade worked for Apex Clean Energy where he led development, financing, and PPA origination for wind power projects, and performed buy- and sell-side due diligence on wind and solar project portfolios. Wade previously served as a US naval officer for five years, completing four overseas deployments.
