Yohei Takabe is the global leader of Boston Consulting Group's Insurance practice. He joined BCG in 2005 and has focused his work on leveraging technology to develop competitive advantage for his clients. He has acquired deep experience in digital- and IT-related topics across a range of industries with a particular focus on insurance and financial services. His recent experience includes digital transformation, digital marketing, multichannel strategy, strategies leveraging AI, and big data.
Yohei led the establishment of DigitalBCG (now BCG X) and has been involved in numerous projects since then as one of its leaders. He is also a core member of the Tech and Digital Advantage; Financial Institutions; and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices.
Prior to joining BCG, Yohei was a consultant with IBM Business Consulting Services (formerly PriceWaterhouseCoopers).
