Yumi Hiratani leads Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care practice in Japan. She is also a core member of the firm’s Corporate Finance & Strategy and Climate & Sustainability practices.
Since joining BCG in 2002, Yumi has worked primarily with companies in the pharmaceutical and medtech industries. Within those industries she has rich experience in go-to-market strategy, new drug launch planning, sales force transformation, wholesaler and distribution strategy, pricing strategy, and cost optimization. She has also partnered with numerous clients on mid- and long-term strategy, growth strategy, post-merger integration, and transformation.
