COVID-19 has accelerated shifts toward globalisation in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, among other areas. Africa and Europe can find common ground for growth and innovation through thematic initiatives - accelerating co-investment, forming new strategic trade alliances, and partnering for green growth - and through enabling initiatives such as institution building, education and culture, and the digital economy.
