Alexander Brenner is the office lead for Boston Consulting Group in Hamburg, and a core member of BCG's Industrial Goods practice. He is also a member of the automotive and mobility leadership team for Europe, the Middle East, and South America, where he is the regional lead for suppliers and aftermarket. In addition, he is the global squad lead of the automotive aftermarket where it intersects with Marketing, Sales, & Pricing.
Alex is an expert in strategies and M&A along the automotive lifecycle, with a focus on automotive suppliers and aftermarket for car and truck manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, and ecommerce players. He has in-depth knowledge of corporate and go-to-market strategies, mergers and acquisitions, digitalization, pricing, and performance programs, and has worked with clients all around the world, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Alex has led strategy reviews and development for major automotive suppliers, driving business transformations—particularly full portfolio pivots—and spearheading numerous top-line and bottom-line improvement activities for a wide range of clients.
Before joining the firm, Alex worked at Roland Berger for 16 years, holding various positions, most recently as Senior Partner and non-elected member of the supervisory board’s strategy and people committee.
