Alexander Ancher S. Elboth is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Energy and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices. He has spent much of his BCG career working with integrated energy companies as well as low-carbon energy clients on the Norwegian continental shelf. He has also spent several years working in Houston, Texas and the Middle East.
A significant portion of Alexander's work is related to large change programs focused on both strengthening the company (capture and realize strategic and execution advantage, enable the organization) and strengthening the results (grow revenue, control cost, deploy capital). He also has extensive experience across a variety of industries in strategy development, shareholder value advisory, transaction support—including post-merger integrations—and target operating model design and implementation.
Before joining BCG, Alexander spent seven years in the Royal Norwegian Navy, initially as a cadet at the Navel Academy and then as an officer onboard a Fridtjof Nansen-class frigate.
