Alfonso Abella leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice in Iberia, and he is a core member of BCG’s Energy, People & Organization, and Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practices.
Since joining BCG in 2002, Alfonso has worked extensively with clients in the energy and telco industries on issues related to asset management, customer centricity, and value-based analytics. He has led numerous projects on strategy and business plans, corporate development processes, regulatory strategy, organizational structures, efficiency programs, transformation, and change management.
In addition, Alfonso has worked across a wide range of industries on engagements related to global sourcing and purchasing optimization, HR and talent management, and the role of corporate functions and shared service centers.
