Andreas Klar joined Boston Consulting Group in 2006. He is a core member of BCG’s Health Care and Insurance practices with a focus on health insurance systems/payers. He leads the Health Care practice's payer, provider and health care system work for Europe and the Middle East. He primarily focuses on large-scale transformations, growth strategies, and digital services.

Andreas has extensive knowledge of the international health care and health insurance markets, including applying value-based health care approaches. He has a wide range of project experience developing and implementing strategies for health insurance companies and health systems across Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to joining BCG, Andreas developed and managed outpatient clinics in Central Eastern Europe.
