Ben Horner
Ben Horner joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2007 as a consultant. He has worked extensively with the National Health Service and private hospitals, focusing on rapid financial improvement, health economy transformation, and supporting delivery. He is part of the HCPA Scientist Network at BCG.
In his recent client work at BCG, Ben has led the execution of four NHS hospital financial improvement programs, redesigned clinical pathways, created sustainable services across health systems, and conducted strategy and operational reviews for private acute care hospitals. He has compiled global toolkits from BCG data and worked with biopharma and pharma clients on marketing and cost-reduction projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben was a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University in a transatlantic collaborative PhD program as part of the team due to perform the first British face transplant. Ben worked as a doctor for eight years, specializing in plastic surgery.
