Candice Mascarello came to Boston Consulting Group in July of 2022. She has more than 12 years of experience in management consulting focused on financial services in Brazil. Her areas of expertise include strategy, transformation programs, customer experience, and performance enhancement.

Candice is a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions; Insurance; and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices. She leads projects in banking, insurance, and payments, concentrating on customer experience, process and cost optimization, strategy, culture, distribution, and other topics. She also works with clients on due diligence and operating model and organizational structure.

Candice recently conducted the customer experience transformation program for two of the largest banks in Latin America, starting with retail and expanding to the entire organization. In addition, she developed a customer experience benchmark tool for the Brazilian market that was adopted by the largest banks and insurance companies in the country.

Her most recently projects were related to building customer-centric models, focusing on delivering a better experience while optimizing costs, shaping ESG strategy and key initiatives, developing strategic planning for recurrent analytical sprints, designing the client’s long term planning process, and more.

At BCG, Candice also leads the Center for Customer Insights for South America. CCI is a Center of Excellence with a mission to provide best-in-class customer insights across topics, practice areas, and geographies.

Before joining the firm, Candice worked for almost 12 years at Bain & Company.
