Ching Fong Ong is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Center for Digital Government, and a core member of the firm’s Technology Advantage; Technology, Media & Telecommunications; and Financial Institutions practices. He joined the firm in 2000 and has worked extensively for BCG clients across Southeast Asia. 

CF’s recent client work includes leading the development of go-to-market and channel strategy design for a telecommunications company; leveraging big data; developing IT strategies for various telecommunications companies and banks; and leading operations and IT lean transformations for banks. 

CF is part of the global Technology Advantage leadership team and is a coleader of the BCG Leadership & Talent Enablement Center. In 2004, CF was seconded to BCG’s Amsterdam office for a year-and-a-half as part of the Global Ambassadorship Program. 

CF played a key role as a lead instructor for Digital Transformation, an online course developed by BCG in partnership with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. The course, available on Coursera.org, enables students to examine the pace of digital change and the imperative it creates for businesses. Before joining BCG, CF worked at both Accenture and Arthur Andersen in Kuala Lumpur.
