Christoph Hilberath is a member of the Central Europe leadership teams of Boston Consulting Group's People & Organization and Operations practices, and a core member of both the Industrial Goods practice and the building materials team.
Christoph first joined BCG’s Munich office in 2004, leaving to pursue an entrepreneurial role as CTO/CFO of a digital startup specializing in customer engagement and business intelligence from 2010 to 2013. He rejoined the firm in 2014. He spent five years in BCG’s Melbourne office before returning to Munich in the spring of 2022.
Christoph specializes in organizational transformation, cost optimization, and AI-driven efficiency improvements. He helps clients reach their full potential by driving cost transformations across all profit and loss (P&L) dimensions, redesigning operating models, and optimizing organizational structures.
His expertise includes large-scale transformation programs, cost transformations, and change management, ensuring bottom-line impact by directly linking transformation efforts to the P&L. In addition, Christoph works with clients to leverage AI and GenAI to unlock efficiencies and increase effectiveness of organizations by optimizing plant and logistics networks, operational processes, and head office functions.
