Claudia Newman-Martin is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Public Sector, Social Impact, and Consumer practices. She has significant experience in impact investing, education technology, and economic and workforce development; and focuses on strategy and operational transformation.
Claudia has recently led engagements designing and launching an impact fund, helping a foundation pivot its portfolio post-COVID, and designing economic recovery programs for states. She often works at the intersection of the public and private sectors, designing partnerships that create a quality talent pipeline to fill critical industry labor needs.
Prior to coming to BCG, Claudia co-founded a behavioral economics consulting firm in Nairobi, Kenya; worked as an attorney in Australia; and was a clerk for the Chief Justice of New South Wales.
The learning passport, a UNICEF initiative created in collaboration with Microsoft and BCG, aims to improve learning poverty.
The 21st Century Techforce initiative partnered with BCG to build an ecosystem of tech talent to support economic development in Puerto Rico.
