Daniel Azevedo is based in Brazil and is a senior member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer and Global Advantage practices. He is actively engaged with BCG’s Global Advantage leadership team and contributes to the firm’s strategic growth and global initiatives.
Daniel previously led BCG's Global Advantage practice in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa for seven years. During this time, he played a key role in shaping BCG’s global approach to economic strategy, driving thought leadership on BRICS and other global economic dynamics, and strengthening the firm’s engagement in major international business and policy forums. Today, Daniel is the people chair for the Global Advantage practice.
Since joining BCG in 2010, Daniel has acquired broad functional expertise on topics in strategy, transformation, sales and marketing, organization, and operations. He has worked with clients across sectors, including consumer goods, retail, and electronic commerce. In order to bring value to his clients, Daniel seeks clarity on underlying value drivers and leverages his clients’ capabilities to help consolidate true sources of sustained competitive advantage.
Prior to joining BCG, Daniel worked as a strategy consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
