Daniel Kessler has been with Boston Consulting Group since early 2003. He is a core member of BCG’s Financial Institutions practice, and throughout his career has worked with clients in Switzerland, across Europe, in Southeast Asia, and in the US.

Daniel’s client work focuses on large-scale change programs, primarily with clients in the financial services and insurance industry as well as adjacent industries. He has led several large transformations and global post-merger integration programs and supported clients both in digitally transforming their core and building new business models. Daniel has also worked extensively on portfolio strategy, M&A, organizational transformations (including change management and cost programs) and client segmentation and value proposition development from conceptualization to successful implementation.

Between 2012 and 2017, Daniel served as BCG’s global leader for wealth management and private banking, and from 2015 to 2021 he led BCG Switzerland as Managing Partner. He also led BCG’s Financial Institutions practice in Switzerland. Daniel serves on the Chapter Board ‘Doing Business in the US’ of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce as well as on the Swiss Advisory Council of the American Swiss Foundation.
