Darren Jackson is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) and Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practices. He joined BCG in August 2023, bringing more than 17 years of experience in industries including technology, telecommunications, and media, as well as private equity firms and non-profits. At BCG, Darren works with corporate TMT clients and PE-backed TMT portfolio companies. He is one of the West Coast leaders for DE&I— specifically Black and Latinx talent.

Before joining BCG, Darren was a partner at Bain & Company where he served both B2B and B2C clients in a variety of industries. He has led many due diligence efforts for private equity clients, and advises on topics such as strategy and commercial excellence. Darren is an expert on the Internet of Things (IoT), and has extensive recent experience serving hyper-growth companies in the tech space.
