Dean Muruven joined Boston Consulting Group in October 2022. He is a core member of the Climate & Sustainability and Social Impact practices at the firm. Dean is an expert in integrated water resource management, and has extensive experience in global water policy and strategy.

Dean is the author of several publications on biodiversity, global water policy, nature-based solutions, corporate water risk, and sustainable finance. Before joining BCG, he worked for eight years at WWF, most recently as Global Policy Lead for Water. Before that, he worked as an environmental consultant at Central Rand Gold, and as a mining and sustainability consultant at Royal Bafokeng Holdings.
