Eric Sparks joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015. He is a core member of the firm's Industrial Goods practice specializing in aerospace and defense, infrastructure/transportation, and social impact cases. Eric's primary focus is delivering large-scale transformations across MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) systems. He has considerable expertise in process-based operations improvements.

As part of his client work at BCG, Eric has led multiple end-to-end transformations of large sustainment systems for the US Department of Defense and private companies with an emphasis on operational and strategic improvements on the shop floor and in planning, engineering, and resourcing. His work has created well over $10 billion of client value created.

In addition, he developed the commercial MRO business from scratch for an aerospace OEM and led multiple procurement and supply chain transformations cases for both private sector and public sector clients.

Before joining the firm, Eric was an aircraft carrier-based F-18 pilot stationed in Lemoore, CA; Fallon, NV; and Tokyo. He is a TOPGUN graduate, was a Weapons School Instructor, and completed six deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as operations in the western Pacific.
