Francesco Palmieri Lupia is a member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Energy, Operations, and Strategy practices. Within the Energy practice, he focuses on the downstream oil and gas and petrochemicals sectors.

Since joining BCG in 2007, Francesco has been actively involved in international oil and gas projects, supporting international and national oil companies in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. He has worked extensively with upstream and downstream oil companies on a variety of issues related to strategic planning, decision making on investment, portfolio management, performance, and organization improvement.

Francesco has engaged with clients in the Middle East to develop a corporate long-term strategic plan for a major oil and gas producer, internalize the downstream arm of a national oil company, restructure an upstream operating company, and build an integrated energy strategy for a member country of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Before BCG, Francesco was a senior manager at Arthur D. Little, where he focused on the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors.
