Frédéric Boutet is a core member of BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech build and design unit. He has worked in finance for 25 years, both as a consultant and as a banking executive. 

At BCG, Frédéric works primarily in Europe and Africa, and he lived for five years in Johannesburg. Over the past ten years, he has been helping banks conduct at-scale digital and AI transformations covering areas including marketing and sales, operations, and risk management. He previously served as leader of the firm's work in payments in Africa, and as the leader of the BCG X office in South Africa. 

Before joining BCG, Frédéric worked in banking Executive at LCL, a subsidiary of Credit Agricole, as Chief Digital Officer, and then Chief Marketing Officer of the bank.
