Gabriela Schäfer is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Industrial Goods practice specializing in chemicals. Gabriela's current focus is on driving sustainability and innovation topics in the context of the chemical industry. She leads the firm's work with the Global Impact Coalition, creating and establishing projects aimed at decarbonizing the chemical industry. In addition, she works with clients on circularity and energy transition topics.
Gabriela has a special interest in the overlap between the chemicals industry (material choices, feedstocks, energy consumption) and end-industry realities in the sustainability journey.
Before joining the firm, Gabriela was a Senior Scientist at Procter & Gamble in Modeling and Simulation.
