Jack Bugas is an expert in sustainable food and agriculture at Boston Consulting Group. He joined BCG in 2013, and previously worked in the New York, Copenhagen, and Chicago offices.
Jack leads BCG’s global strategy for the COP28 Action Agenda on Regenerative Landscapes (AARL) in collaboration with the COP28 Presidency, UN Climate Champions, and World Business Council for Sustainable Development. This includes overseeing program execution to aggregate $6 billion in funding across over 40 companies and more than 280 million hectares of regenerative landscapes, and supporting the launch of AARL’s accelerator in Brazil to shape policy, financing, and metrics for regenerative landscapes.
In previous engagements, Jack has led sustainability initiatives across industries, guiding global organizations from strategy development to measurable impact. His work has helped clients harness sustainability for competitive advantage, reimagine business models for sustainability and circularity, scale regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions, and decarbonize supply chains.
