Matthew Huddle is a lead member of Boston Consulting Group's Health Care practice. His work focuses primarily on growth strategy, M&A, digital innovation (including GenAI), and digital transformation in providers, payers, and health care services. He leads the firm's work on digital front door in health care providers.

Matthew has led multiple digital transformations for US provider systems (including national health systems, integrated payer-providers, and academic medical centers) impacting millions of patients. These engagements have included digital strategy and business value definition, human-centered design, digital build, operational change management, pilot, broad launch, and scale.

He joined the firm in 2016 after having served as an Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery resident at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Matthew has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on predictors of surgical outcomes, patient safety, clinical efficiency, and hearing loss epidemiology.

In addition to being active in the firm's scientist and physician networks, he is active in Pride@HCPA, and serves as the Pride@HCPA node.
